UK PM Johnson's spokesman: not aware of plans to make ARM pursue London IPO

LONDON, June 22 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s spokesman on Wednesday said he was not aware of any plans to try to make chip designer ARM list in London after the Financial Times reported that officials were considering such a move. Asked whether the government would use new national security powers to try and force ARM, which is owned by Japan’s SoftBank, to list in London, the spokesman said: “I’m not aware of any plans to.”

LONDON, June 22 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s spokesman on Wednesday said he was not aware of any plans to try to make chip designer ARM list in London after the Financial Times reported that officials were considering such a move.
