According to the news from Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, Huayi Tencent Entertainment (00419) announced that, in view of the potential strategic synergies with Golden Spring Investment Limited (stock code: 1328) (Golden Spring Investment), the company and Golden Spring Investment entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement on April 19, 2024.
Under the strategic cooperation framework agreement, the company and Golden Spring Investment will engage in friendly cooperation in overseas strategic development and capital markets, and jointly explore and evaluate overseas investment and M&A opportunities (strategic cooperation), subject to the final agreement to be negotiated. The Board believes that the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement will provide the Group with broader opportunities to explore overseas opportunities and further achieve business and operational diversification, in line with the overall interests of the company and its shareholders
